Format: Alternating virtual and in-person meetings (Columbus and statewide via Zoom)
Cost: Free; NASW Ohio provides appetizers at in-person sessions.

BIPOC Holding Space is a statewide gathering for BIPOC social workers to seek support, validation, and encouragement. These sessions provide a professional, affirming space to connect and reflect. The group is not a therapy session, but rather a collective of peers building community and care.

LGBTQ+ Social Workers Holding Space

When: 12:00–1:30 PM ET
Where: Zoom
Occurs: Monthly, on the first Friday of each month.

This monthly virtual event creates a supportive space for LGBTQ+ and ally social workers, students, and professionals. Participants share resources, experiences, and affirming discussion, strengthening solidarity within and beyond the profession.

Neurodivergent Holding Space

When: 7:00–8:00 PM ET
Where: Zoom
Occurs: Monthly, on the second Tuesday of each month.

This monthly virtual meeting is for neurodivergent social workers to hold space for each other. Neurotypical allies are welcome to attend to learn and listen. The group fosters understanding, resource-sharing, and professional solidarity across neurodiverse experiences.
